Counselor’s Corner:

Los Alisos Middle School is an amazing place! We are so excited to have your students at our school. Our entire staff is dedicated to creating an excellent learning and caring environment for all students.

Greetings! My name is Sandy Van Lant and I am the School Counselor at Los Alisos Middle School. I love middle school students. They have lots of energy, great ideas and are right in the middle of growing up. I meet with students, parents and staff daily regarding the needs of our students: counseling, encouraging, mediating, developing study and social skills, listening, and providing assistance as needed. Your child is welcome to come by my office before or after school, snack or lunch, or per your request or a teacher’s request. 

One of the most valuable resources for students at Los Alisos is our partnership with Pacific Clinics.   For students who may need long-term counseling/therapy, we can extend a referral to this agency. We are very grateful for this program.
