(ASB) STUDENT BODY GOVERNMENT
The Associated Student Body government (ASB) is the group responsible for student affairs such as approving the organization of clubs and activities, selling ASB cards, and dances. The ASB Office is located in the Administrative Office. Information about activities, dances, rallies, and student government is available from the Director of Activities.
ASB ELECTIONS
Anyone wishing to run for an ASB or class office must secure a petition from the Director of Activities. All ASB officers are elected by the student body. Elected officials are mandated to conduct themselves in a responsible manner at all times. These petitions are to be filled out and returned by specific deadlines. Candidates are asked to follow campaign guidelines.
THE ASB STICKER is the passport to the whole activity program at Norwalk High School. It provides a real bargain in fun, entertainment and social activities. You can get special discounts on admission to all regularly scheduled athletic events, plays,
dances and other school activities. The ASB sticker must be attached to your I.D. card. Your ASB funds pay for the total activities program. Show support and save money! The cost of an ASB sticker is $25.00.
ACTIVITIES/CLUBS
There are a variety of clubs and activities that students may be interested in at Norwalk High School. Club sign-ups are usually at the beginning of the school year, but most clubs allow students to join by attending any meeting and signing up. Meeting
times are announced in the daily bulletin. A list of club and activities is posted in the Associated Student Body Room.
