If you have any textbooks from your home school, make sure you turn them in and clear your obligations here at ECHS with an original receipt. The ECHS library will no longer be checking out library books this school year. Make sure you return your checked out library book(s) BEFORE the last day of school. If not, this will be put on your obligations and you will NOT be receiving your high school diploma when you graduate. You can always check in the library at snack or lunch to see if you have any obligations.
The state of California has a new law in effect for students in grades 7-12. They are now required to show proof of a Tdap Booster shot BEFORE the start of school. Do not wait, get vaccinated now!
If so, have you already filled out the paperwork for Selective Services? If you have not already done so, you will need to see Mrs. Marquez in the Guidance Office during snack/lunch only.
El Camino High School has a ZERO TOLERANCE for electronic devices. Whereas students are allowed to bring cell phones to school, cell phones may NOT be used during class time. Cell phones may be used only before school, snack, lunch and after school. Cell phones and other electronic devices will be confiscated and will ONLY be returned to the student’s legal parent or legal guardian. A second offense will also result in the cell phone or electronic device being returned at the end of the school year. Other electronic devices such as IPOD’s, walkmans, etc. are not allowed on campus at any time and will be confiscated and only returned to the student’s legal parent/guardian.
All students must adhere to the El Camino High School Dress Code. Appropriate dress is required at all times. You will be sent home if you are in Dress Code violation. Sandals are also NOT allowed and NO HATS of any kind. ALL hooded clothing MUST have the hoods off of your head. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Brown.
