• TEXTBOOKS AND OBLIGATIONS

    If you have any textbooks from your home school, make sure you turn them in and clear your obligations here at ECHS with an original receipt. The ECHS library will no longer be checking out library books this school year. Make sure you return your checked out library book(s) BEFORE the last day of school. If not, this will be put on your obligations and you will NOT be receiving your high school diploma when you graduate. You can always check in the library at snack or lunch to see if you have any obligations.

  • CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION

    For senior students who have not met the CAHSEE graduation requirement at this time, will not be allowed to participate in the June graduation ceremonies.

  • NEW RULE - SHOTS BEFORE SCHOOL - NO IMMUNIZATION MEANS NO SCHOOL

    The state of California has a new law in effect for students in grades 7-12. They are now required to show proof of a Tdap Booster shot BEFORE the start of school. Do not wait, get vaccinated now!

  • WORK PERMITS

    Just a reminder, if you are under 18 yrs of age and have a job, you MUST have a work permit or you CANNOT WORK. Every school year, a new work permit MUST be issued. Pick up an application in the Guidance Office, at snack or lunch and see Mrs. Marquez

  • ARE YOU AN 18 YEAR OLD MALE STUDENT AT EL CAMINO HIGH SCHOOL

    If so, have you already filled out the paperwork for Selective Services? If you have not already done so, you will need to see Mrs. Marquez in the Guidance Office during snack/lunch only.

  • USE OF CELL PHONES IN CLASSROOMS

    El Camino High School has a ZERO TOLERANCE for electronic devices. Whereas students are allowed to bring cell phones to school, cell phones may NOT be used during class time. Cell phones may be used only before school, snack, lunch and after school. Cell phones and other electronic devices will be confiscated and will ONLY be returned to the student’s legal parent or legal guardian. A second offense will also result in the cell phone or electronic device being returned at the end of the school year. Other electronic devices such as IPOD’s, walkmans, etc. are not allowed on campus at any time and will be confiscated and only returned to the student’s legal parent/guardian.

  • DRESS CODE REMINDER

    All students must adhere to the El Camino High School Dress Code. Appropriate dress is required at all times. You will be sent home if you are in Dress Code violation. Sandals are also NOT allowed and NO HATS of any kind. ALL hooded clothing MUST have the hoods off of your head. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Brown.

    No one may leave the school grounds at any time during school hours without an authorized pass from the office.

  • ABSENCES

    Just a reminder to all students: When you are absent, please have your parent/legal guardian call the school the morning of your absence. After 10 days, your absence automatically changes to a truancy.

  • STUDENTS LATE TO SCHOOL

    Reminder: If you are late to school, you must sign-in with security. Remember to print your correct name legibly. If your name is not on the clipboard or it is not legible, it is an automatic truancy.
