Principal's Message

La Pluma's rich heritage is rooted in community partnerships that work together to promote excellence in learning.  At La Pluma, we are dedicated to creating a school of excellence.  It is our aim to work with parents to lay a solid foundation for every student academically, socially, and artistically.
 
Together with the staff, students, and surrounding community we look forward to our 2012-2013 theme of "Teaming Up" for Success!  We believe that we can achieve more through our partnership with students, staff, parents, and community. 
 
We look forward to offering our students the opportunity to grow musically, artistically, as well as socially.  In partnership with our PTA as well as our District, we are providing our students weekly musical experiences, monthly art opportunities, choir to our 3rd-5th grade students, as well as a school-wide focus on developing kids of character.   Reaching the whole child, we believe, is an important part of every child's learning experience.    Thank you for being a part of our team as we work to grow one student at a time!
